UNITED AS ONE
Our Vision for the Future
Over the next five to ten years, United As One Non-Profit envisions becoming a leading community-based organization dedicated to reducing barriers to stability, wellness, and economic opportunity. Our long-term strategy focuses on expanding access to essential services, strengthening workforce pathways for vulnerable populations, and investing in sustainable community development initiatives across St. Louis City, St. Louis County, and throughout Missouri.
Through strategic partnerships, data-driven programming, and community-centered solutions, United As One will increase service capacity, establish permanent support hubs, and scale programs that address immediate needs while fostering long-term self-sufficiency. Our vision is rooted in collaboration, equity, and measurable impact—ensuring individuals and families not only receive help in moments of crisis, but gain the tools, resources, and support necessary to thrive.
OUR PILLARS OF IMPACT

PILLAR 1: ACCESS & STABILITY
Meeting Immediate Needs with Dignity
United As One is committed to ensuring individuals and families have timely access to essential resources, including food security, shelter, childcare assistance, crisis intervention, and mental health support. By serving as a centralized hub for resource navigation and referrals, we reduce systemic barriers and promote stability during times of transition or hardship.
PILLAR 2: PATHWAYS TO OPPORTUNITY
Workforce Development & Economic Mobility
We prioritize workforce development initiatives that create sustainable employment opportunities for veterans, justice-involved individuals, individuals with mental health challenges, and other underserved populations. Through job readiness training, employer partnerships, and vocational pathways, United As One helps individuals achieve economic independence and long-term success.
PILLAR 3: COMMUNITY INVESTMENT
Strengthening Neighborhoods for Long-Term Impact
United As One invests in community-driven development initiatives that foster collaboration, resilience, and growth. Our work includes community events, volunteer engagement, partnerships with local organizations, and future development of affordable housing and service centers that bring resources directly into neighborhoods.
